About Beyond GEM

Beyond GEM is an initiative from Bismarck State College to assist Community College of the Air Force students in completing their Associate's in Applied Science degree.

Currently Bismarck State College (BSC) is a partner with CCAF for the General Education Mobile (GEM) program, which offers General Education courses online to CCAF students every 8 weeks.  GEM helps CCAF students to complete their General Education requirements ONLINE within one or two semesters or ONE YEAR!

What is the Beyond GEM Program?

Many CCAF students need to obtain Leadership, Management & Military Studies credits, as well as Program Electives to complete their Community College of the Air Force Associate's in Applied Science degree.

Bismarck State College can help you obtain your degree ONLINE!

BSC offers the following courses ONLINE that satisfy the 6 credits needed in Leadership, Management & Military Studies:- BADM 202 Principles of Management (3 credits)
- BADM 281 Organizational Behavior (3 credits)
- BADM 282 Human Resources Management (3 credits)

BSC also offers many courses ONLINE that satisfy the 15 credits needed in Program Electives:- CSCI 101 Introduction to Computers (3 credits)
- ENGL 120 College Composition II (3 credits)
- HUMS 210 Integrated Cultural Studies (3 credits)
- MATH 210 Elementary Statistics (3 credits)
- POLS 116 State & Local Government (3 credits)
