Graduates of Bismarck State College are awarded degrees depending on the number of credits and other requirements completed.
To meet graduation requirements for an Associate in Applied Science, students must earn a minimum of 60 semester hours of credit that includes: 1. Completion of a prescribed technical program. 2. Completion of the following General Education requirements: - Communications - 6 credits - Arts & Humanities/Social & Behavioral Sciences - 3 credits - Business, Math, Science & Technology - 6 credits in two different disciplines
3. Earn at least 15 credits from BSC.
4. Achieve a minimum 2.00 grade point average in at least 60 semester hours, including a 2.00 grade point average in a prescribed technical program and in all credits from Bismarck State College.
5. Clear all college obligations.
6. File an "Application for Graduation" with the Student Records office in the semester/term in which student expects to complete requirements for graduation.
